The Roaring Twenties was the golden age of college humor magazines. Three decades later, when I joined the Jack-o-Lantern staff as a cartoonist in 1958, an air of faded glamour still lingered in the dusty offices. Peter Holbrook, now a distinguished landscape painter, drew this cover art. I did the color separations and he generously asked me to sign with him.
